1- 'Fun, easy tournament' - Groups of 4 or 6 where half go through, usually a maximum rating between 1250 and 1450. 3 day/move, vacation allowed. (8 so far)

2 - All play all - one group of 10-12, where each player plays each other twice, 1 simul. game. Vacation allowed (7)

3 - Fast - 32 players in groups of 8, top two qualify for final round. 24hrs/move, no vacation. (4)

4 - 960 - Just a normal 960 tournament, last time two groups of 7 with 3 qualifying. Vacation allowed (2)

5 - Thematic - Particular opening set, last time 4 groups of 5 - Hippopotamous attack. Vacation allowed (1)

6 - Open - the only tournament I do without a maximum rating, vacation allowed, 60-90 players, 6 per group, 3 go through (3)

7 - Quick knockout - typically 16-100 players, groups of 2, 1 qualifies. 24hrs/move (8)

8 - Champion of Champions - 36 players (6 groups of 6) or any square number, one goes through to final round where champion of champions in crowned. 1-3 days/move. Vacation allowed (NEW)
