The newest version has been crashing every time I try to go in and try to do tactics. This happens on both of my devices.

Talblet: Asus TF101 with Android 4.0.3

Phone: Samsung Nexus S with Android 4.0.4

I have uninstalled and reinstalled on the tablet and the problem persists. Anyone else having issues?

In such cases, a crash log from your device would be HUGELY valuable in helping us address these issues. Here's how to get one:

1. Check out and install this (free) app: Catlog - Logcat Reader!

2. Open the Chess app and do whatever is required to reproduce the crash/force-close

3. Then just open Catlog and select Menu > Save.

4. Now you can use Catlog's "Share" feature to send the log as an email attachment. For now, please send any logs to deepgreene@gmail.com

Well, it is working now, so maybe it was just a glitch. I did grab a crash log but I'll wait to if it recurs before sending one in.

OK, started happening again on both of my devices. Sending in a log.

Hmm, no tactics on the app for the past two days. I tried a clear, uninstall, then reinstall and still no luck. DeepGreene said a ticket was submitted but is anyone else having a problem?

Since the app mostly worked before, and there wasn't an app update, it would seem to be a back end change that is causing it to crash.

Anyway, mobile browser and the Tactics Trainer works but isn't nearly as smooth on my tablet or phone.

Still getting pretty consitent crashes, but at least now I can do some tactics here and there; usually two or three on the phone (which I use the most for tactics) and a crash or two will let me do some more before it starts in again.

Last week it would crash every time on the phone and on Sunday or Monday I started getting better results on the tablet.
