Vote Chess Guidelines

Recently, we have been having some fun in some vote chess games. We have a few things to keep in mind.

    • We encourage a high level of discussion on the team comments. We have a lot of talent on this team.
    • All suggestions are welcome. Even if something looks bad, be respectful.
    • We come to a consensus before voting. Don't vote just after voting becomes open. This leads to drive-by votes, which have already lost us games. Occasionally, we will have an open vote between two moves.

I agree with Silverpanic. We should have an open vote between 2 (and sometimes 3) moves. If someone has a good idea that has promise, we should vet it thouroughly. And no one should feel uncomfortable offering a suggestion if she or he really believes that it's worthwhile.
