I'd like to see a vote chess game that was built around specific but somewhat unusual openings (Pric, Grob, etc).

I would like members who are actually playing in our Vote Chess games to provide more analysis before they submit their votes. Otherwise we wind up putting ourselves in terrible situations.

I`m with you Naedling (sp ?), people just voting and we have no idea of a strategy it`s hopeless. i think before you challenge the world or any GMs that we learn to function as an effective group - where the sum of the parts is better than each individual player. that means ordinary games against regular team opponents.

and bob... if your coach plays for you what is your purpose here ?

Question: When our Vote Chess team "wins" a "rated game," how does this win affect our individual rating?

It seems that only three people vote for the vote chess games.  I posted some initial analysis of the game vs. C-project, but it looks like the other three voters have already cast different votes.

Rise up and fight apathy - lets win some vote chess games! Cool

Random - I guess I didn't see your analysis since I typically play in the early morning. But I'm with you - it looks like very few people were involved and I saw no genuine team strategy. If we're going to win any votechess games, we're going to have to collaborate ... collaborating at all would be an improvement; collaborating intelligently would be new ground at this point.
