Maybe we can play a vote chess game?
ExtraBold
It's not really worked when I've tried it in other groups, although I have heard that it can be pretty good. I'll set it up if a few sign up for it.

If you have a reasonable sized team, Vote Chess is a lot of fun!
In Team ITalia I am the coordinator for Vote Chess, and we are taking part to the "Masters Tournament", which is a by-invite only 14 team tournament, amongst the team who demonstrated a very high level of collaboration. I can tell you it's a lot of fun, and a great learning opportunity for people (like me) with lower ranking, because you can learn a lot just by following the comments that are accompanying each move...
I have about 10 vote chess games in progress and it's great fun.
But we would need to make a list of people who would play. It's me, you two and...? We need someone else, I think!
Can you please say who is in our group? Kacparov, Kaniksu (seems inactive), Andreacoda, Extrabold, Lardingd and...?
I would not be able to play, sorry for this...
I have too many open things ongoing, and can't really take anything else onboard!
But I wish you great luck if you decide to go on and give it a try!
You can click on 'members' in the group menu to see the members.

I am the super admin of four groups with a special interest in vote chess. My experience has been that "if you build it they will come". The groups I manage are each dedicated to a particular opening so I try to create vote games frequently enough that we always have a game in the opening stages. When the most recent game has completed ten moves, I create a new vote game challenge. This usually results in two or three games running concurrently. But sometimes opponent teams will time out or the game might end suddenly due to a blunder, so I try to keep at least two games running regardless of how many moves in the previous game.
I have worried that too many games might be seen as burdensome but the above method has been well received. I create a game and people sign up. Vote chess is a good way for the members of a group to get to know each other and interact with each other. And it's also a great way to learn about chess by following the discussion of the higher rated players. And sometimes it's the lower rated players who find the genius move that everyone else overlooked. As with anything, egos sometimes become a factor and there can be disputes about what is the better move(s) and I've actually seen people quit a group because they didn't like the team's choice of an opening line, but these occurrences are rare.
I really enjoy ChessTempo and being a member of this group.

Is there an easy way to track vote chess, as my main issue with it is getting to my games as they seem impossible to find.
I am currently participating in twenty-four vote games. I love vote chess. Chess.com does not make it easy to keep track of vote games which you are participating in. It is particularly difficult to be aware of how much time you have left to make a move before the time runs out. I prefer vote games with a two day time control. First day to study, suggest and discuss. Second day for last minute considerations, making a decision, changing your mind and (oh yes) voting. I made a folder on the bookmarks toolbar of my browser and then bookmarked each vote game. Then you can right click the folder and open all the vote games in tabs at the same time and then close each tab as you need. I try to do that twice a day. Timing out in a vote chess game is really a drag.
emschrosch, if you have your alerts on and you always check "track this forum topic", there's no problem with that!
started one game so you can check it out emschrosch
