What do you like about computers? 

 I don't really know. The first time I looked inside one I was amaazed by the complexity, the beauty of how these things were so uniform.. they all fit together.

What is your favorite thing to do with computer?

Make programs, and play around with the hardware.

Yes, I too enjoy playing Internet chess in both this and the Gameknot forum.  I also play Vista's "Chess Titans" program, which is simple but fun to play.

I also enjoy designing websites using simple HTML and Frontpage.  I am in the process of learning MS's new Expression Web suite.  My wife purchased the $800 suite for me one Christmas for just $95 because she was a student at the time. 

I maintain my finances online and track them with Quicken.  I make far more Internet purchases than store ones, and I usually check the online reviews of items to purchase of any substantial value.  I love MS Word and Excel, and I make great use of them.

Why do I like computers?  I like them as they simplify and enrich my life.
