We held tough for awhile but eventually lost to the Chess Nuts this week.  I'm not afraid to lose but I'd like to get a better quality of game next time (actually it wasn't too bad considering we were 1 or 2 vs. 26 players for most of the game Laughing) around & get more players involved (of all levels).

Please tell me what times are best.  By the way, the name of the vote tournament has been changed, when the matches will be played is no longer restricted to just the weekends.

anyone?  DaveShack?  Sashie?  nicetoall?  espanarules?  others?

if we can get a solid group of two or three groups of 3-4 to cover in shifts we will have a huge advantage over our last game.

all players should feel welcome to participate.  with only 10 minutes per move we need all the eyes & minds we can get to scope out brilliancies & safeguard against blunders!

I'm off til 5 pm on Wednesday. The mornings are usually best for me, as I typically get shifted for evenings or nights.

It's going to start next Wednesday at 3PM GMT (10AM EST).

We'll probably be white (since we were black last time) so move one will be at 3PM, move four at at 4PM, seven at 5PM, etc.
