If you are unfamiliar with xiangqi, here's a good introduction:  Xiangqi

zankfappa is playing red, and eques is playing black.

To the participants:  Please track this forum so you'll know when it is your turn to move.

The time control is 3 days per move.  No vacations, unless agreed to by both participants.  No computers.  Databases are OK.

When it comes to perpetual check, perpetual chase, etc., I will be using the guidelines published by World Xiangqi Federation.

Just post your move to this forum and I will update the board diagram below as soon as possible.
