This game came from a QGD exchange variation, an interesting one positionally since the only difference in the game is the pawn structure though white usually comes out slightly better because black is more pinned down and white has more chances to get play in both the center and queenside. White played pretty well, dominating his opponent and played good defense when black played a dubious sacrifice to secure the win.

A simply beautiful game, with beautiful analysis to accompany it. Thank you so much for sharing again. White displayed a complete domination of each side of the board throughout! You don't see that frequently at that level of play. By the way, what the hell was the deal with 54... Qh1+ ? Did black think he had a forced draw and forget that he still had two mobile pieces? Doubtful, but I still don't understand that move on any level.

I must admit I was very lucky to find this one because when I did this it was a game picked pretty much randomly, though I was looking for a QGD exchange game. And ...Qh1+ was pretty funny and doesn't make sense.
