  • Eboard has worked great for me in Debian, Ubuntu and Puppy. In fact i think they have a Puppeee version of Puppy now. You'll want something lightweight.

  • Hey, MINTAKASKAR, have you tried Eboard? It might be in your repositories. You can use it to connect to chess servers such as FICS.

  • Hey, matthewthegreat - I just got a used asus eee 900 with xandros. It's great (although I might put eeebutnu on since i am a fellow Ubuntu user). Love KDE, though.

  • I just ordered the ASUS Eee PC 901 from amazon, although I haven't got it in the mail yet. I think i'm going to install eeebuntu on it. Can't wait! :)

  • which game do you use in linux to play chess?? i've played with GNUChess or smth like that, but i couldn't play online. do use a game like that to play online??
