Eboard has worked great for me in Debian, Ubuntu and Puppy. In fact i think they have a Puppeee version of Puppy now. You'll want something lightweight.

Hey, MINTAKASKAR, have you tried Eboard? It might be in your repositories. You can use it to connect to chess servers such as FICS.

Hey, matthewthegreat - I just got a used asus eee 900 with xandros. It's great (although I might put eeebutnu on since i am a fellow Ubuntu user). Love KDE, though.

I just ordered the ASUS Eee PC 901 from amazon, although I haven't got it in the mail yet. I think i'm going to install eeebuntu on it. Can't wait! :)
