I got the kick pedal today in the mail, and I used my old piezo sensor that's falling apart, along with the lid to a hamper. It worked a lot better than the original pedal setup. I managed to get the pedal for $35 off of eBay, the practice pad for $16 and the sensor for $4. It's a lot cheaper than the Destroyer Pedal, and it probably will work just as well once I get the practice pad.by BasicLvrCH8r 2 years ago
Hmm...how much did that cost you, if you don't mind me asking? I've been looking into ways to do doube bass and get better, but that's the main thing I haven't tried yet. Let me know how it works, if you don't mind.by Tesuch 2 years ago
My kick pedal is completely destroyed, so I purchased an actual drum kick pedal, a practice pad, and a piezo sensor off of eBay. I hope that this will give me better results than my bass pedal did in the past.by BasicLvrCH8r 2 years ago
The BlockHead Rhythm Maker, $30 new, but you can't do double bass with it (w/ a head phone splitter). If you were considering doing double bass, I'd pick up the RB2 stock pedal, either $20 or $30 at GameStop. There are much better pedals, of course, but they tend to get pricy, and my Rhythm Maker has done just fine over the last few months. It's made of metal, so it can take alot of abuse.by Tesuch 2 years ago

What kind of pedal would that be? I desperately need a new pedal. I'm going to buy Smash Hits probably within the next week. I'm also considering buying a PS2 off of eBay just for Guitar Hero I & II and Rock the 80s.by BasicLvrCH8r 2 years ago
I just got a 3rd party pedal from Best Buy, and it works alot better than my stock pedal. Just got GH:SH too, this game frigg'n rocks....by Tesuch 2 years ago
