  • This is for students in IM David Pruess's course "King's Gambit Ideas for Intermediate Players." The course is designed for players rated either from 1300-1600 in live or from 1500-1800 in echess. There will be an emphasis on good opening principles (and specifically how they apply in King's Gambit positions), the introduction of tons of king's gambit ideas, and some recommendations for how to study an opening. The 8-week course features interactive lectures (you will be encouraged to answer and ask questions), ~30 min of homework per day, discussions with instructor feedback in the group forums, and more. Course tuition is $225, and enrollment must be exactly 20 players. The first class is on July 10th. More info upon request.
