• Ponziani Power is currently a very active group where we discuss and learn about the Ponziani opening. One of our key members is Dave Taylor, ex US Correspondence Chess Champion and co-author of the book 'Play the Ponziani'. Dave is constantly posting in the forums, keeping the group updated on new lines in the opening he has been studying and playing. Vote Chess is one of the main ways in which we discuss and learn about the Ponziani. As well as Dave, we have many strong players and our games are awash with discussion and analysis that is very instructive to improving players like myself. The Ponziani (1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 c3) is a fundamentally solid opening and full of traps. Maybe it is time you started to expand your opening repertoire.
