The idea for this group grew out of a love for the works of Vladimir Nabokov, a master prose stylist and poet who loved chess and creating chess problems. He was also noted lepidoterist (one who studies butterflies). His was a creative mind that could not be easily occupied with one thing.
This group is for those who appreciate the beauty of life, of which chess is an important part. We're here to discuss anything even remotely related to the topic: Chess, literature, and anything interesting and beautiful.
