  • I just accepted a challenge from Team Northern California. They are still a fairly small group (34 members) so we can match up as we see fit. By the way, Happy Memorial Day weekend to everybody!

  • I am surprised about the response to the Power of Chess match! Considering the temperatures all across the State. Despite that we already managed 16 boards. That leaves 9 spots open. I will likely lock on Tuesday regardless of whether we are finding 25 players or not. We seem to be pretty popular these days with challenges coming in on a regular basis.

  • The Power of Chess (one of the largest groups on Chess.com) has challenged us to a rematch. Quite surprisingly, we won our first encounter rather clearly so this time Power of Chess will try to turn the tables. I hope we can find enough players despite the fantastic sunshine out there ..
