I really hope you retrieve your analysis, Conquistador. Was 6...d6 anything more than a transpositional trick after 7.d3 (or 7.Nc3)? I can't do better than 7...Qe8 or 7...Rf8, which seems to transpose to the normal 6...Qe8 or 6...Rf8 lines. Do you remember what is best after 7.d3?

I don't particularly care about the issue, just keep it out of the notes.

Oh and here's the proof. Here's the same exact picture thepurpledinosaur used in his/her (don't even know gender anymore) profile picture: http://www.childstarlets.com/features/commercials/googlenexus7/gtablet06.jpg

Lol thepurpledinosaur isn't 6 years old! Plus that picture is of a child actress named Shree Crooks who was in a Superbowl nexus commerical. Good try though.

It's fine, I should be fine as long as I have the key move. Thanks for the help!

Crap, I forgot that was on my laptop that decided to push the daisies. When I get the harddrive off it, I can post the analysis unless I find a copy somewhere else. I can tell you from my memory the key to black's salvation in the line is 6...d6 and black was doing very well.

Hmm...I thought I updated it with my latest work...let me post what I had been working on recently (6...d6 was the best move in my opinion).

Is the forum about 5.Bxf7+ 6.Bd5 still up to date or is there a better move than Rc8 that was discovered?
