i think black surely has the advantage in the game if he did not hv lured to exchange his knight to rook with that check if he could hv saved his knight then there might be trouble for white as his position on king side is weaker

Interesting position in game 8. After move 12. ... Re8+ the position looks double edged. Black can continue to cause discomfort to White's King but has dark square weaknesses on the kingside, in my opinion.
