  • i think black surely has the advantage in the game if he did not hv lured to exchange his knight to rook with that check if he could hv saved his knight then there might be trouble for white as his position on king side is weaker

  • Interesting position in game 8. After move 12. ... Re8+ the position looks double edged. Black can continue to cause discomfort to White's King but has dark square weaknesses on the kingside, in my opinion.

  • Interesting games being played by Anand-Gelfand. Interesting in the sense it allows us mere mortals to see Steinitz's theory being put into action. I believe that Gelfand will eventually win.

  • Did anyone watch the CCSCSL Invitational GM Norm Tournament? I went over the games of Daniel Rensch, Irina Krush and Greg Shahade. Irina drew, Shahade drew and Rensch lost against the Caro-Kann played by Georgi Kacheischvili.
