I'm a Chess addict, of course. I view life or specifically each day like a game of Chess. You plan and act on it.  Each move must be calculated as precisely as possible. If you lose, accept it and try to win the next game, even if you can't.  If you win, humble yourself and try not to lose even if it's not winnable.  One of my favorite lines is "It is not what you have done that counts, but the reason for doing it."
