In the top 250 for rankings in Tournament Points (all time), around the #200 mark.
If anyone is willing to help me improve my game (I'm not looking to pay), I'd be more than happy to be a student. I am entirely self-taught otherwise.
I will generally accept tournament invitations and matches. I enjoy meeting new people as well. Don't worry if your rating is high or low, match me and let's have a great game! I do not tolerate insults or rudeness, to me or to anyone else. It's just not necessary, so why do it? What's the benefit?
I am an administrator of two large groups on chess.com. Bobby Fischer Group and Say No to Racism. I'll be happy to listen to anything you have to say about things you'd like me to do!
If you are in a tournament with me, it is the last game, and we have tied scores, but only one can move on, I will be more than happy to draw to allow us both to move on.
I did suffer a yearlong period of depression and stress, and did not log into chess.com for a significant amount of time. My stats are not as accurate as they should be. I generally play fast when I have time, even with my large number of games.
If you send me a message to move faster, I will put our game in my bookmarks and your game will be one of the first I move in. Otherwise, I will move as I can. Thank you!
In some games (random ones, could be against you, maybe!), I like to try out new openings and see if I like them or not. I generally prefer the Italian opening with white, and for black, I go for the same, or if you open with Queen's pawn, Indian game. I may lose a game really badly, even if it's a tournament game. I don't care about my rating. My goal to get better, in the long run. Also, in some games (specifically ones that are parts of tournaments I'm doing well in and have a possibility to place and earn tournaments points), I like to carefully analyze those games and will move more often in those. Generally there's about 10 opening practice games, and 5 analytic games going on (can vary, and will decrease as # of games decreases).
Current openings being practiced:
If you could help me in any way, that would be very much appreciated!
Fun Chess Variants:
1. Try to capture all 8 opponents pawns (first to accomplish this wins).
2. Double-move chess (2 moves per opponent)
3. White has two white-square bishops, black has two black-square bishops.
Hope to see you in a game soon!
