I love animals, but especially cats. Reading is a huge pleasure, as is writing. As for what I think about -- oh, those timeless questions: Why am I here? Will I still be here after I am gone? Is there any meaning to life other than the one we assign it individually? Is there any reason to struggle to do the "right" thing when it would be so much easier to do the more "comfortable" thing? And how do we determine what is the "right" thing? What is going to happen to this once beautiful earth that we have succeeded in ruining? Who are humans, that they think they can improve on Nature? Have we ever?
Though I've always loved chess, I've never been interested in tournaments or contests. I like to play against people for the sheer fun of it. I have taken a several-years' hiatus from chess for various reasons and am now ready to resume in earnest. This Chess.com is completely new to me and I absolutely LOVE it!!
