Occupation: 12-year-old boy
I was born in Naples, Italy on November 2000. I had a natural birth and my Dad was there. I went to a church pastored by James Langston. My earliest memory would be looking in awe at the grapevines in the Langston’s garden and watching in awe at the awesome music as the older son played Megaman. (I don't know which came first!)
When I was five, my family and I moved to Missouri, USA. We attended a church called Rock of Ages and we met the O’Brien family. The O’Brien’s were the best friends you could have. Luke and Levi O’Brien were the best Sunday and Wednesday schoolteachers and Tim and Tracy O’Brien were the most on fire for God people I’ve ever met.
Many months ago my Dad taught me how to play chess really well (he taught me how to play at age six but I was no good and hardly ever played it) and now I took it seriously. Then I realized that chess was my life and I was really dedicated on becoming better. I know someday I’ll become a grandmaster if not more.
I also recently went to my first chess tournament that was being held by a former chess grandmaster. I won first place in my age group and was handed a first place trophy, but it wasn’t the trophy that was my favorite part, my favorite part was getting to shake the hand of the former grandmaster and hearing him say, “Congratulations.”
Right now I still attend Rock of Ages Church. We have no pastor right now but it’s great because we work together like one big family. I play my Dad at least two chess games everyday and I also play chess online everyday with the average rating of 1250. I love Sonic the Hedgehog and my favorite hobbies are drawing characters, reading books, playing chess, and listening to music.
