About Me:
I teach Old Testament and biblical Hebrew. My special area is the Wisdom Literature (Proverbs, Job, Ecclesiastes). One wife. Two grown boys. I believe a day without Bach is not complete. The beer is optional. I learned the game as a boy from my dad, who never said a word about how to improve. I rediscovered the game in the last few years (my sixth decade), and have begun to learn a few things through Chess Mentor. Since my Dutch cousin (a former Rotterdam junior champion) beat me with a Queen's pawn gambit, I try that now and then.
