I was born in Ireland (Killarney, Cill Airne), moved to the Netherlands when I was 3 years of age. Still feeling Irish and hope to come back one day.....  At the end of the eighties my FIDE-rating was 1830, playing in a club (BSV). I stopped OTB and never touched the wooden pieces for over 15 years. Why? In my dreams I only played chess, I almost became psychotic :>|. Since 2007 I carefully renewed my acquaintance. Nowadays I sometimes play OTB (after a good meal and some wonderful wine) with a friend. But, I'm hooked with CC....
