About Me:
My name is Wesley. I'm a casual player, striving to get a steady rating above 2000. Using the help of the features of this site, I already have improved quite a bit. I learned the game from my father 7 years ago and joined a chess club after I knew the basics. For a long time I have played on WorldChessNetwork, a great live chess site which had tremendous features, such as Predict-A-Move, Play a GM, Live Vote Chess, Live Tournaments, and an amazing community.
A year later I quit chess again, and left the club. Now, I am back, and trying really hard to improve. Unfortunately WCN shut down, so now I am at chess.com. I am really satisfied about the online functions, I just wish Live Chess would improve just like WCN.
I play chess because I like the game. I am not 100%-life dedicated to it, but I like the game. I am wondering whether I should go back to that club I was at once, or just stay here and play chess whenever I like, using Chess Mentor to help me improve my chess. Guess I'll have to think over it for a bit...
