Hi! I'm a 15 year old who loves chess. I've been playing it since I was 8, but still make lots of mistakes. I love to organize stuff, anything from tourneys to groups. I mostly play 3 day/move chess and live games between moves, but recently have found a new addiction: vote chess, especially 10 min./ move. Remember—BlackNight, not BlackKnight!
I do a lot of stuff other than chess too. I love sports, especially— well, all sports. I play baseball and golf. (I missed the baseball team this year, my school has no freshman team) I play on the school golf team, and got to play one varsity match last year. I am a good skier, but don't compete. I'm a NASCAR fan (GO TONY STEWART!!), and am a pretty good gart racer. (NOT those ones you find along with mini-golf, real ones) I used to play football, and am a HUGE Patriots fan. I also am an actor. I have performed in many plays and musicals.
I WILL ACCEPT FRIEND REQUESTS FROM ADMINS OF GROUPS I'M ADMIN IN
My friend rule: If I don't know you and haven't played you many times, I don't accept a friend request. If you want to play me a few times (3 or 5 day/move, one game at a time, [I may have too many games to play you]) I might add you to my friend list if I feel that you are a nice person.
Animal Vote Cup
The only league I run is the Animal Vote Cup. It is composed of animal-named teams who compete in 1 day per move vote chess. A player may only choose one Animal Cup team to play for.
My Priority Groups
#1 Chess Destination
-- I created this group to be an all around group— vote chess, team matches, leagues, and nice features. For a while I didn't really know how to run a group, and it became somewhat dead. Then, on Feb. 1st 2010, I (now with experience at running groups) decided it was time to revive the group. I put tons of time in, and in one month, took the group from 28 members, to a thriving and active group with over 150 members and still growing! It now has over 200 members! Along with the improvements came a new name and team image.
#2Glorius Chess
-- This was the first group someone else ever made me admin in, so I tend to feel a bit attached to it. I started managing bughouse games, and now work on other parts of the group as well. During my major admin cutbacks, I decided to just be a member.
#3 Burning Pawns
-- After wilt and I became friends, I decided to join his group. I was an admin there for a short while, but it was too much combined with my other groups. It is still very important to me, though. We recently came in second in The Fortnight Speed Vote League!
#4Chess Unlimited
-- I had always thought this group was large and not very personal. BOY, WAS I EVER WRONG!! I had no clue that it was created by Jaller435718, who happened to be on my friends list. How he was on my friend list, I do not know, but one day I went to his user page and found out about his group. I thought to myself "you know, that group name looks familiar", then realised what it was. For a while, I didn't participate much (though it was the inspiration for my group A World Of Chess). Then, I decided to help out by running bughouse, as I did in Glorius Chess. About a month later, I was promoted to admin. I didn't find out until I saw the admin tools in the group's homepage! (I found the message later) Since then, I've stopped being admin there, to work on Chess Destination
#5 Black Cat
-- When I chose Black Cat as my Animal Cup team, I didn't Imagine running it. I have 3 cats, and I feel like giving the things associated with bad luck a chance to succeed. (Like 13) When The 2010 Animal Cup Elections came around, I just wanted to find someone to be vice-captain to. I was lucky enough that wilt, who I knew a little bit from CU, chose Black Cat, and wanted to run for captain. Since wilt, a few of his friends, and I have been running the team, it has improved greatly! I'll not be admin in it after this year, as my focus will be on Chess Destination and running Animal Vote Cup.
