About Me:
I'm a heavy listener of music and a guitarist/pianist and I play guitar in my two bands. My favourite bands include Dream Theater, The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Tool, Paramore, Muse, Incubus, Trivium and Scar Symmetry, although I'm also known to listen to others like Taylor Swift and the Veronicas. My favourite guitarist, hands down, is John Petrucci. Other faves include John Mayer, Kurt Goedhart (of the Butterfly Effect), Adam Jones (of Tool), Alexi Laiho (of Children of Bodom) and Tom Morello (of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave).
I'm also a track athlete specialising in events around 400m-5000m as well as cross country.
--- 100m: ~12.3sec, 200m: 26.2, 400m: 56.1, 800m: 2:10.2 (I'm really due for a new PB), 1500m: 4:54min (yuck. hoping for a 4:20something this season), 3000m: 10min flat, maybe under, 5000m: 18:48min.
Been playing chess off and on from when i was about 4 or 5, just got back into it recently. I just like good ol' 1. e4 as an opener... I'll VERY rarely open with anything else.
