I really like chess. I didn't learn to play untill really late though, a big regret now. I only started playing some in college. Now it is one of my "cyclical hobbies" things I pick up for a while get really hard core into and then cycle out of after a bit only to come back to sometime later.
I am a bit of a collector and I love all the "stuff" of chess so I have quite a few chess books and chess sets. I am also a bit of a trivia buff so I tend to feel like I know more "about chess" than I know how to play chess. But I am working on it.
I tend to play e4, but I am really interested in the English as well. With black I just try to get by.
