Hello, My name is Marcus. I live in Davie (next to Ft Lauderdale), Florida with my wife(Caroly) and cat(Chin-Chin). I love cycling, mixed martial arts, and lifting weights.
I was never patient enough to learn how to play chess. Especially, growing up in the 80's and 90's where video games were becoming more and more popular. Why learn all the moves of the different pieces in chess when there's Space Invaders(and later, PacMan, etc.)? I thought. I didn't have the patience. Then about 5 years ago, I finally decided to learn! As an adult, I was patient enough. Now, I am in love with chess too. Chess is the most classic of all games. It is an almost perfect concept. Chess is enormous and limitless. These are things I can appreciate as an adult. Even though, I wish I learned as a child because then I think I'd be a good player. Well, better late than never. Even though I started late I still love playing.
