About Me:
Preaching the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ is my passion. I am an avid reading (e.g., fiction - James Lee Burke; theology - David Wells; non-fiction most anything with an historical basis). Chess was a forgotten pastime to me until Spring 2008. My adult daughter asked me to teach her some moves and then I got a refresher course in "Chess for Dummies," which directed me to chess.com. Chess not only gives me mental challenges but also introduces me to some great people. She, Lynea, reignited my interest in chess, but she passed away on July 30, 2009. I miss her more than words can say.
