About Me:
I enjoy all kinds of board and card games, but the long history of and international participation in chess is hard to top. I joined chess.com as a way of playing against my oldest nephew, who is a great kid and remarkably good player for his age.
Though I first learned how to play nearly 30 years ago, around my oldest nephew's age, and played a regular weekend match with my college roommate, I haven't played in many years. But since joining this site I've become quite obsessed with this game, and for the first time have really taken to studying it in earnest.
