I have wonderful wife and two gorgeous children - a 4 year old boy and a baby daughter. My son already shows interest in chess and can set up a chess set.
I have lost and found the game several times as an adult. The highlight of my professional career was working on Chessmaster 11 as a brand manager and a contributor on the development. I brought more passion and knowledge to that job than any other. If hope to find a way to combine my work and chess in the future. I currently lead an online division of a small company in San Francisco. I am a brand marketer who has previously worked in consumer packaged goods and video gaming.
I love challenging an opponent in a game of mental war. I like both open and closed games. The Ruy Lopez and the Kings Indian Attack are some of my favorites. I would love to someday study chess more seriously.
