About Me:
I'm a born strategy games player. My gaming "career" started with video games from about 8 years of age. I've won various video game tournaments and broke a world record in a coin-op game called Elevator Action back in 1986. Then came money backgammon. I played semi-pro for about a decade before the game lost it's popularity in my region. The dying down of backgammon led to my taking up tournament chess. My national elo rating is in the expert range, but my strength at speed chess is considerably higher. I'm generally over 2300 at the playchess.com server. While I haven't given up chess, I've taken up cash-game poker (both online and live) with good consistent results at low stakes games (generally $200 NLHE B & M, $50 or $100 X2-4 NLHE online).
