About Me:
I own a Heating & Cooling Businesss in North carolina in the USA. I have played Chess for well over 40 years. I have played against Ron Cozzy, the City Chess Champion of Buffalo, NY ( draw) and lost to the former Jr Chess Champion of Brazil (Little Lito). I have played in Chess Clubs but nowadays I play mostly against online players. I prefer the Black pieces and as an underdog. As White I usually develop slowly, but will attack early if feasible.
I generally play positionally and defensively, patiently waiting for oportunities and blunders (large or small) by my Chess Comrads.
To me Chess is Art, I tend to focus on limiting my opponents moves/choices while gaining space for my own pieces. So I like to play slow developing "closed Games" like a Boa Constrictor if possible.
I have studied endgames the most. My Favorite players are Emanuel Lasker, Nimzowitsch, Petrosian, and Anatoly Karpov. Favorite authors are Edmar Mednis, Chris Ward, and Al Horowitz.
