About Me:
I'm South African housewife, and am in the process of publishing my first novel (fantasy). I love animals, especially cats, dogs, horses and sharks. (and of course dragons)
I've been taught chess by my father when i'd just started school, and had since them played against him and my brother. The chess bug has never left me, and my husband I also play once in a while. I've now started playing with an old veteran, and he's teaching me a lot - so now chess is even more in my veins and that's why I joined this place: to learn more about this fabulous, intricate, mind-bogglingly difficult game of strategy...and of course to try and win some battles against the old geezer!
