I am an all around competitive person. I am competitive to a flaw. I love the game of chess for one reason, I want to master it. I hate the game of chess for one reason, I havent mastered it. I like to trash talk, but never until u start it, but only all in fun. Sort of like Dominos, if u know what I am saying.
Wow, what a game. I never ever wanted to play chess, because of my grandfather. He is 80 now, and I said to myself, before he passes away, I want to beat him in chess. I bought a Chess master cd and started to learn on my Playstation. I practiced for 3 months and called him and told him what I was going to do. The day finally arrives and I think that I am ready. We sit down and the 1st game he cleans my clock. 2nd game he wipes me off the board. Well I get up to 18 and 19, I was almost frustrated to give up and never try again. The 20th game comes and to this day I still remembered how i hollered and yelled and raised my hands in victory. It was nothing like it, I did it! I finally beat the old man on his own turf.
