Hey! I am Cory- I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am a huge Packer fan, and love all sports in general.
We have a Chess Club in GB, and it really helps me with my game. I enjoy doing Tactic Trainer 2.0, and reading chess books. I have read
*Chess Strageties for the Tournament Player By Lev Alburt
*Chess Fundamentals by Capablanca
*Pawn Power by Hans Kmoch
*Bobby Fischer: My 60 Memoriable Games
Alexander Alekhine: Master of Attack is the book I am currently working on
I have 2 Alekhine books in Russian print that I am going to go over next-
Book 1 games from 1905-1920 and Book 2 1921-1925.
He is my favorite player and the best player EVER. I study all variations of his games and like to play 4 pawn attack.
I watch ALOT of Youtube videos of players from Alekhine-Fischer-Kamsky-Caruana-Carlsen-Anand-Nakumara-Gelfend-Aronian- and all Russian GM's- too many to list- and follow FIDE tournaments through ChessTV.com or Official websites.
If I am online, I am chatting. Going over games I lost to improve my game. Watching youtube videos with my chess board out, watching lightning games in live chess, or checking out how my friends are doing.
