I live in Manchester England, and work in the Security industry. I have been playing chess since I was around eight years of age. I am currently teaching my Seven year old Girl (Jessica) how to play. Chess for me is about learning from my mistakes, I believe that you will never progress if you don�t play the best. Whether you win or lose you should always study you�re game after. I have never been tempted to use Books on opening / software to enhance my rating. The most important thing for me is to enjoy and learn from my games. I will accept any challenge regardless of rating I don t believe in setting restrictions on who I will play. I am part of a group on Chess.com called Circle of Trust OTB, (over the board). The group fully backs up all my principles of not using any sort of aid to influence the result of my matches other than your brain. The man who is brave enough to make mistakes learns the fastest
