Started playing chess in May 08'. My then 7-year-old son had joined his school chess club but wasn't getting much help. I knew how the pieces moved, but didn't even know how to castle. I bought The Complete Idiot's Guide to Chess - it was a great first book! Now, my son's interest has waned but I am hooked!
I'm into physical fitness and playing tennis. I am a big college sports fan - Florida Gators. I was born in Mass and also a big fan of Boston teams - Red Sox, Celtics, etc.
I am a christian and have been blessed with an awesome family!
