I am an exciting interactive chess player willing to begin lessons to anybody with an equally burning desire to learn the intricacies and complexities of this beautiful game. I have been playing and studying chess for 16 years now. My USCF rating is 1959 although I am inactive in OTB tournament chess. I am still very much active on the Internet Chess Club as well as Chess.com. My Chess.com ratings are:

I welcome students at all levels with a thirst for knowledge. I prefer lessons in English but I am also quite fluent secondarily in Spanish. I offer online as well as face-to-face lessons in all aspects of the game. My rate is $30 per hour for Skype or lessons at my home. For traveling I must increase this by $10 for every 10 minutes of driving time.
