About me? Hmmm...well, I love playing chess for the strategy and tactics involved. I like socializing and meeting new people. I'm going to be a dad in March, so that's exciting! I've been playing chess for as long as I can remember and I am also self-taught. The girl in my profile pic is my wife and she's the soon-to-be mom. It is our first so we're excited yet scared at the same time. My wife is really close to her mom and she'll be helping a lot with our newborn which is also a plus. I don't work a whole bunch and usually when she's watching tv or something, you'll find me on here...pulling my hair out with a good, challenging game. hehe ;)

(Side Note: I love getting involved with the forums and giving advice and such. So you may find me on there when I'm not playing chess dropping my comments and two-cents about things. I don't have any chess software or anything of that nature on my computer, so my chess-playing is completely me...on that note, um, hope to be enough of a challenge for everyone. lol) Also, one last note: My live chess rating isn't so great because I keep getting disconnected. Hopefully I can play a match I can actually complete. haha
