About Me:
I'm pretty much into computers - some basic programming. Playing & designing courses for my TW PGA Tour 06. I've been playing for over forty years. The early years were sporatic, but there were weekly chess articles in a local newspaper that kept me interested. Now we have a library club that meets the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month. And I'm playing at several online corresponce chess sites. Right now,Bobby Fischer's, e4 is my favorite 1st move. My style is the truth of a position as I understand it. I used to be a USCF member many years ago, but wasn't playing as good as I would've liked. Now I try to incorporate my strategic knowledge(donniechessnut.mysite.com) into my play and have much more fun - win or lose - than when I was straining my brain with mostly tactics and opening book memory.
