About Me:
I grew up in Detroit, and I now live in a suburb of Washington, D.C. I enjoy traveling, and have been to many places in the United States. I've also been to Europe and Asia a few times. I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
The most beautiful place I've been is the Grand Canyon in Arizona. It's an amazing place that everyone should visit if possible. The most beautiful city I've visited is probably Kyoto, Japan.
During law school, I spent a summer in den Haag, the Netherlands. I will always have a fondness for all things Dutch.
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I learned to play chess at an early age, but I never seriously studied it until recently. I'm still near the bottom of the learning curve, so I don't feel like I have a real style yet. Still trying to minimize the blunders. As White I play 1.d4, although I think playing 1.e4 is probably better for players who are starting out.
