I started playing chess when I was about eight years old and I've barely stopped since! I'm continually trying to improve my chess skills as there's always something new to learn, and I enjoy a little banter during a game.
Although I enjoy playing chess regularly, I also read a variety of different types of book, and I'm passionate about writing, hoping to get something published in the near future...
In terms of music my favourite bands range from more recent stuff like Kasabian, Oasis and the Arctic Monkeys to older music from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Who and Led Zeppelin. I'm also a bit of a Star Wars fanatic (original trilogy!) and enjoy all kinds of films from action to sci-fi/fantasy to the old classics.
