Occupation: High school
Im 17 years old, living in Denmark.
Chess is one of my major interests together with mopeds, computergames, guitar and piano.
I learned chess from my granddad when i was 6 years old. But i didn't think much about it until i was 14 years old in October, 2007. One of my school friends challenged me to a game of chess. I thought i could win. But i couldn't. He checkmated me 5 times in a row with the "Scholar's mate". Since that time, i've done what i could to beat him. And i actually succeeded a year ago. Now i just play for fun :-)
My favorite chess players are:
GM Vladimir Kramnik (I have a chess board with his autograph!!)
IM Chresten Waagner Nielsen (Because he's family)
GM Gary Kasparov (Because he managed to get the highest ever rating in the world, and because his games are great)
1. e4 and 1. g3 are my favorite opening moves.
At the moment, im playing a real-life correspondance game against IM Chresten Waagner Nielsen. I don't think i'll be able to win, but it's worth a try :-)
This is how my game against IM Chr. Waagner looks right now. It'll be updated :) Since it is Correspondance chess it'll usualle take 1 week pr. move because all moves are send by real mail. I won't use opening books or computer help. Therefore, i might play out of opening book early, since i can't any books in my head. If i do follow the booklines, im just as good as those who made them ;)
Thank you for looking at my page! :-) If you want, you can challenge me.
