Better at juggling than chess...
My current chess study involves lots and lots of tactical puzzles, playing regularly, and analyzing my games afterwards.
I started 2008 rated 1335 USCF, and I'm shooting for 1700 by the end of the year. I'm about half way there, but I doubt if I'll improve that much in one year. It's just a goal to keep me motivated.
