I am President of Chess.com University, the world's leading online chess-teaching organization. I regularly teach college-like chess courses, teach seminars, and organize events for Chess.com University. I was the sole organizer for the world's first online chess camp which featured 2012 Vice World Chess Champion GM Boris Gelfand as an instructor.
Instructors formally or presently associated with Chess.com University include: 2012 Vice World Champion GM Boris Gelfand, GM Roman Dzindzichashvili, GM Maxim Dlugy, GM Valeriy Aveskulov, GM Ben Finegold, GM Levan Aroshidze, GM Magesh Panchanathan, GM Mac Molner, GM Dejan Bojkov, IM Valeri Lilov, IM Daniel Rensch, IM David Pruess, FM Dalton Perrine, NM Dane Mattson, NM John Williams, and myself, Kairav Joshi. Join Chess.com University if you are interested in learning chess from the best!
Chess.com University is launching the Prodigy Program, the world's best chess-learning program, on November 29th, 2014. See the official announcement for details:
I've also created a chess mentor course for Chess.com:
Outside the chess world, I am an educational entrepreneur. I tutor STEM subjects and am working on a STEM tutoring start-up. I am also developing accelerated learning programs for middle schools and high schools in the U.S. and hope to start them by the start of the 2015-2016 school year.
I am also involved with start-ups outside the education world which are all operated by Kairav Enterprises, LLC. During my spare time, I do astrophysics research. Specifically, I study the orbital dynamics of our solar system.
With that said, I am primarily involved in chess and education at the moment and encourage you to contact me if you would like to improve at chess, need help in math and science courses at the K-12 or college level, or are interested in forming any business partnerships or strategic alliances.
