I look young for my age. :-) About my online name: I am a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. I first start playing chess when I was eight years old, but it wasn't until I was a freshman in college that I gained a real appreciation for the game. I was challenged by a fraternity brother one evening and got trounced in two games within five minutes. He used tactics like forks and pins which I had never experience. Several years went by before I started to seriously study the game and joined a local chess club.
