Before the Iraq War, I played guitar in a local band, loved to hike and ride my bicycle all over the place. Since the war, I've taken up chess, do scrollsaw fret work pieces, make miniature dollhouse furniture, and, because my therapist thankfully talked me into it, make intricate needlework pieces.
