About Me:
Before the Iraq War, I played guitar in a local band, loved to hike and ride my bicycle all over the place. Since the war, I've taken up chess, do scrollsaw fret work pieces, make miniature dollhouse furniture, and, because my therapist thankfully talked me into it, make intricate needlework pieces. I love to knit sweaters and socks, the more difficult the pattern, the happier I am. I do crochet afghans and lace doilies. I am an avid reader and writer.
