Lives in one of Washington, DC suburbs in Northern Virginia. Life revolves around my wife, 5 year old son, and work (unfortunately work is taking way too much time from the other two).
I played Chess competitively when I was in High School, 18 years ago. I quit when Chess started to become addictive and I started analyzing moves in my dreams :-) And I have not played a single game in those 18 years.
Recently, my 5 year old started playing Chess, and he really got into it. I wanted to help him learn, got online and found this site. Ever since I have been visiting almost daily.
Very interested in learning how to teach Chess to a real young kid. If you have an young one and live near DC, would love to get to know you...
