I used to love riding motorcycles till I got run over by an SUV (don't laugh, it's a true story!)  I haven't played OTB in about 2 1/2 years (it's a location thing), but plan to start that again next summer (2012).  Having rheumatoid arthritis makes life "interesting," but is a darned sight better than having to go for chemotherapy every other week (for the last 3 years), as my wife does...she'll have to do this for the rest of her life & she's not really looking forward to another 20-25 years of this nonsense, but it's better than the alternative, I suppose.

UPDATE: Was fortunate to play in the 113th US Open in Vancouver, WA recently.  I didn't do too badly: even though my record was a mere 2W, 7L, my OTB rating only dropped 1 point!  How cool is that?

UPDATE #2: Seems like the competion here in the Portland area is much tougher than around Fresno.
